Create a Wall of Positivity

A wall of positivity is simply a wall that displays images, quotes, affirmations, and whatever inspires you to give a visual focus for your life.

  • Chalkboard Wall: Create a chalkboard wall using a pot of chalkboard paint. Once it’s dry, you can write and draw on your wall using erasable chalkboard pens. This way, you can keep your ideas and quotes fresh based on what inspires you.

  • Gallery Wall: A gallery wall consists of a collection of framed images or quotes arranged artfully. Create a gallery wall where you will see it often.

  • Poetry Wall: Create a wall of inspirational poems and quotes from your favorite authors. Try writing by using your best handwriting or learn calligraphy to make your wall even more personal.

  • Affirmations Wall: Put your favorite affirmations on the wall instead of just saying them out loud. Create your own affirmation or research others that are meaningful to you.

12 Days of Kindness

There are three major benefits of showing kindness to others for 12 days:

  • To lift your mood and increase the joy in your life;

  • To form the habit of being kind;

  • To cause others to mirror your kindness which will cause it to spread.

Choose any 12 days out of the month to perform a kind act for someone. This can be anyone such as a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or even a stranger. Decide what kind act you will do and get started!

SUGGESTIONS FOR KIND ACTS: Offer your service for free, babysit for a single parent, pay for someone in line with you, donate to a shelter or pantry, leave a kind note, give a gift that gives back.
